Michael joined the TMW Center in December 2021. As a transcriber, he is working in one of the first steps of the project, that being the direct viewing of conversations between parents and their children for purposes of extracting what has been said. Prior to the TMW Center, he worked with Dr. Abhishek Ghosh in the digitization of rare Indian manuscripts for the Sajjana Tosani Project. Simultaneously with his work here, he is a self-employed, online bookseller. He graduated Magna cum Laude from Grand Valley State University in Philosophy with a focus in the Foundations of Mathematics and Religious Studies with a focus of Liturgical Languages. He lives in Saint Joseph, Michigan and his favorite book from early childhood was The Usborne Encyclopedia of Science and Technology.
