Collaborate Community Collaboration

Palm Beach County, FL

From 2018 to 2021, the TMW Center and Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County worked closely together to embed TMW Center interventions at local sites that serve substantial numbers of young children and their families. These settings included birthing hospitals and pediatric practices.

The TMW Center provided staff at these implementing sites with the training and technical assistance needed to ensure interventions were delivered with fidelity, employing our feedback-driven innovation cycle to test and improve results at each stage. A local coordinator—hired from and based in the community—also supported our implementing partners and other community stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.

As a result of this collaboration, more than 700 local parents completed TMW Center interventions, many of our resources were translated into Haitian-Creole, and we gained valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities of community-based implementation, which will inform our collaborations around the country for years to come.
