For Communities & Providers

Given the magnitude of the number of families who could benefit from information related to early brain development, the TMW Center believes a community-wide approach is needed. Such an approach prioritizes prevention, beginning as early as an infant’s first day of life, and works from within education, health, and social service systems to better support families.

Our work at the community level aims to intersect parents and caregivers at multiple touchpoints and create a surround-sound effect with messaging about their role in foundational brain development. Similarly, we leverage the healthcare system, as a unique point of entry, to reach and support families. Both avenues for engagement are integral to our efforts to reach as many families as possible.
