Caroline joined the TMW Center in 2021. As a Research Professional, she works on the SPEAK CAT team to develop a tool to measure parents’ and caregivers’ knowledge of child development. Her responsibilities include researching, writing, testing, and refining survey items about child development. Prior to the TMW Center, Caroline received her PhD in Education at the University of Delaware. Her research there focused on children’s question-asking and learning from screen media. She has published her research in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and was the recipient of the Frank B. Murray Award for Excellence in Graduate Research and the Paula Menyuk Award at the BUCLD 2020 Conference. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland and her favorite book from early childhood is “Madeline.”
