Dr. Christy Leung is a developmental psychologist with expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, and a strong background in parenting and young children’s development among at-risk populations across sociocultural contexts. Her primary role with TMW is to lead analysis programs (applying observational coding and statistical modeling to examine contextual factors and parenting contributions to young children’s development), and disseminate research findings to different audiences through presentations at professional conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is passionate about her work at TMW and committed to empowering parents with knowledge and skills in order to maximize their children’s full potentials. Dr. Leung and her husband (Edwin) and daughter (Gloria) enjoy living in the heart of downtown Chicago. In her free time, she explores the city for different cultures and authentic cuisine.
