Min Sok Lee

Dr. Min Sok Lee is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. His primary research interests are behavioral/experimental economics, the economics of education (in particular, early childhood education) and pedagogy (what are the characteristics of highly successful pedagogies in an undergraduate economics course?). Before returning to academia, Dr. Lee spent 6 years leading the Kenneth and Anne Griffin Foundation, developing and implementing their philanthropic vision with over $15 million in investments in early childhood and K-12 education, and working in partnership with researchers from Harvard University and the University of Chicago. Dr. Lee holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Cambridge (U.K.), and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago since 2015. Thanks to his years in Argentina, Dr. Lee loves playing and watching soccer games when not at work.
